I have been through many medical crisis with my ig. I can tell you your iguana needs a herp vet. Harry's dad was telling it to you straight-iguana's require extensive care and it does require spending money on quality vet care. My iguana cost $14.00 when I bought her as a baby--and to date I have spent close to 1,800.00 in herp vet bills, iguana needs, enclosure, food etc. Medical issues come up with these guys all the time--you have to be prepared to pay the price. I think they are worth it, that's what you have to ask yourself.
