To my knowledge, there are no herp vets that post in this forum.

Post your situation at the forum site I have listed below. There is an actual forum that is answered by vets. Click on forums, then reptiles and look for the vet forum. You do have to register to access these forums.

I can tell you from experince though, a vet online is going to urge you to take your iguana to a local herp vet. They could actually be commiting malpractice if the advice they give you online is wrong.

If you explain your financial situation to your vet, maybe he/she could work out a payment option with you? Its worth a try.
