This same man said that my ig would probably have really bad ca:p ratio because I use orange-fleshed squash and parsnips (among other things).
When we got his blood work back, Bad Boy was right on the money. The vet laughed meekly and said, "Well, that's quite a surprise. I guess if we tested him again tomorrow, we might get a completely different reading."
What??!! This ig has been on the same diet for 2 years. The vet said he is the healthiest ig he has ever seen in captivity, yet he questions MY husbandry! GRRRRRRRR!

To answer your question, I have run into this twice this week with two 'serious herpers'. So incredibly sad!
