You said it yourself, when you said "their response is "That's bullcrap, the guy at the other pet shop said all I needed was a hot rock!" ." The employee at the other store was a money motivated person who just wanted to sell and Ig and get it done with. The people like you, who give out advice and a verbal care sheet with a purchase are the type of person a herper like myself wants to deal with. PLease don't think that everybody in the world hates Pet Store employees and owners, just that we have had many unfriendly experiences with them and tend to build a wall to people we don't know. I am glad that you seem to be a person who enjoys working with animals and isn't in it for a buck.
