Jamie and xta aren't exagerating when hey say animal protien is bad for Igs. My little Izzy is six years old this year and is only 11"SVL due to the first owner feeding her pinkies and hoppers when she was young. Fortuneatly he had enough sence to feed her greens as well, but I am constanly told by people who don't know her history that she'll grow another foot SVL before she is full grow due to her growth being stunted. So please don't feed any Ig any animal protien. You did the right thing in asking here though.

: ok, I was just in a chat room on AOL, and 3 people in there say it's ok to feed ig's stuff like pinkies and crickets, and I try to explan that animal protien is not good for them at all, as they are strict vegitarians, It got me very upset when she claimed to have talked to vets, herpitologists, and supposedly seen ig's eatting these things in the wild. this isn't true is it? I've talked to countless vets, herpetologists, and done so much research online my eye's hurt! please tell me this is not true. Thanks for your time.
