The best way to determine sex is by looking at the femoral pores. The femoral pores are located on the inner "thighs" of the hind legs of an iguana. There are small holes. A male's femoral pores will be larger and may exude a waxy substance. A females will be signifigantly smaller. I'm hoping these pictures will post OK. The first one is male femoral pores, the second is female femoral pores. Good luck! Let us know what you determine.
