i know it might sound like a really strange idea but ....all that pent-up energy and frustration has to go SOMEwhere!!! people just think it's weird when they learn that animals masturbate .... but hey - it's better than stitches and a mean ig!!!!!
while iZ hasn't been interested in a surrogate partner the last couple of mating seasons .... the same principle worked WONDERS with my male rabbit (til he was old enough to neuter) .... i gave him a stuffed animal and he definitely bonded with it!!! we used to laugh and say we were going to have a litter of stuffed bunnies .... so ..... i always have a rolled up green bath towel around "just in case" .... i've heard from toooo many sources that it DOES help ....

it's sure worth a try!!!

ps. BTW - please don't misinterpret my bunny/neuter comment to mean that i think IGs should ever be neutered ... I DON'T!!!!!! *grin*
