Most health food stores or pharmacies carry it.
It's in capsule form (powder inside the gel cap)
You might want to mention this to your vet to make sure they think it's ok to use.
I've used it on my Ig and it cleared up diarhhea after using antibacterial meds.
As for the free roaming, if you have infants crawling around on the floor then it's better if the Ig isn't free roaming.
Be sure to keep things free of fecal contamination, wash your hands with antibiotic soap after handling your IG.
