Only thing with Reverse Osmosis is that it uses alot of water for the filtering and purging. That's a nice web site you found, I book marked it for reference.
I think that R.O. probably is about the only way you could go with the filter system, since the key problem is bacteria, which needs very small micron filters to take out.
I was thinking of just draining the pool and refilling. With the right angle on the walls....99% of the by-product would probably go down the drain. And if you'd add and pre-spray rinse cycle before refilling the tub, it should clean the rest of it. It's all those darn switches that cause the problem....$$$$, the electrical supervisor at work, figured a few things for this idea and came up with the few that it would cost just alittle too much to manufacture. Roughly, $600.00 by the time you added everything to make it work right. Micro switches, relays, etc.....but it's still on the drawing board! LOL
