And I agree that most younger people do not make good herp owners...but will not use AGE as the only factor because I have known very responsible 16 year olds who do have jobs and care very well for their pets. (And very irresponsible 35 year olds that don't give a darn) My second Iguana ever was a resue from a middle aged couple that just did not have a clue...so competency cannot be generalized. I was only saying that by and large inexperience and lack of preparation lead to people using these places as LAW...which I feel is not a good thing.
