ok, believe it or not, i've never seen a baby ig 'in person' ~ i am blown away by how teeny tiny Fritz is!!! he's maybe 6" svl ... gonna be a while for this little guy gets to free roam!!! LOL
he actually seems very healthy, just kinda scrawny ... but i don't know ... do all little iglets have such scrawny little arms + legs??? he's very alert + active, but also seems surprisingly calm ... i can put my hand against the mesh and touch him and he was ok with that ... he is currently pIGging out on his 1st meal of collards, he's only been here 5 min + he's eating already!!! in fact, i think he's ready for 2nds!!! too kewl!
his past diet leaves alot to be desired, but at least it didn't contain any animal protein!
his enclosure leaves alot to be desired too, but is actually pretty good for awhile til i can get a new one designed + built ...
big brother iZ came downstairs to meet the coworker who brought Fritz over (but *not* Fritz!) ... LOL, Jesse was suitably impressed!!! and he knows for sure now that Fritz came to the right place! + i'm very proud of iZ cuz he behaved very nicely in front of company!!! tho i did warn Jesse *not* to get too close cuz iZ is just too unpredictable right now ...
ok ... gotta go make supper for the boys now! *big grins*
