Hi Chris.....some questions....is this cage for outside or inside?
If for inside ....you will have problems maintaining humidity (70-90%) and heat (maybe not now but fall, winter months & cool evenings) Temps for iglets should be about 90-95 basking spot, and 75-80 nighttime. All wire indoor enclosures are a problem for iguanas for these reasons. All wire enclosures are great for chameleons tho or...
If for outside its fantastic for your ig to get sunshine (for Vitamin D synthesis ~~~> calcium metabolism) provided he has 1/3 of the cage shaded.
Since you seem to be a Bob Villa type....I wish you would of asked about good iguana enclosures because I would of turned you onto...Glenn Merrills Iguana Cage Page.....lots of ideas, plans commercial & custom...to check out. Your efforts are not in vain....I would still use this cage for outdoor sunnin ;-)
Oh and about linking your website to your posts...its not really necessary unless its about iguanas ok! That's alright you didn't know!
