: it's better if you can soak the branch or repeatedly pour the bleach solution over it, but a spray bottle will work too (your hand just tends to get tired!) ... *soak* it down, wait 15-30 minutes, soak it down again ... let it sit another 1/2 hour ... rinse well with water ... let it dry thoroughly, *2-3 days*, before putting it in with your ig!!! you want to be *sure* the bleach fumes have gone ...
