: I found out today that most humidifiers will only bring the humidity up to 60-65%. A nebulizer, however, will push the humidity as high as the room, building materials, heat, etc. will allow.

: It seems like in the back of my mind I remember someone saying nebulizers were a poor choice for herps because of bacteria growth.

hi i would use neither or none !!!! i raised a tiny newborn to a 4 ft 3 year old healthy male checked by a vet last week whos inn top condition she said iam doing a great job with him. i mist all my reptiles with a cheap 99 cents spray bottle from a drugstore . and it works great for humidity . too much moisture can lead too mold or bacteria . do yourself a favor and save youre money and get a spray bottle all the reptile shops ive been to told me to use a spray bottle it really works trust us.
