I am ig sitting my friend's female ig about his age and size since Friday night. Even though she is being kept on the other side of the house on the porch-- he is going crazy!!! He was calm for several weeks before she got there, but now is back to his terrible behavior of clawing at everthing and ripping his cage to shreds-- flinging himself around and pooping 6x per day!!! I am going nuts!!!! I let him out but then he claws at the door to be let out and poops in the ig room by the door where he can see through to the living room (although he cannot see her). Man they have a good sense of smell! I also noticed he must be giving off some pheromones of his own because he is smelling really strongly of lizard smell lately (his entire cage smells really reptilian-- like a wet gator farm or something even when it is clean). Can I clip his nose with a clothes pin to trick him that the female left or what???? What am I to do? I will have a week of messy cage and spastic lizard to deal with!
