I'd try to get some kind of correspondance started with the pet company summarizing what happened , chain of events, and what you have tried to do. Get him to acknowledge in writing damage has been done to you. Take him to small claims, there's a herp blacklist on the internet you can list him at. I reported someone for internet fraud online site a year ago...I haven't heard a thing to this date. It has to be for more than $25 damage. I'll try & find the links if ya want.
