: Well first let me say thank you to everyone. The forum is the first place to go when you have an iguana concern. Your kind words of concern and good advice have always been comforting. Anyway, I couldn't get her in to a vet on the forth of July due to the holiday no one was open. We let her soak in a warm tub, and she went to the bathroom a little bit. So we continued off and on warm soaks and she did go to the bathroom each time. We watched her through the night and she slept. The next morning she just layed on her basking shelf and didn't even have the energy to raise her head and slept all day. Anyway, we took her to our herp vet. He took some x-rays and they showed she had alot of gas and inflamation. He kept her overnight and did a barium x-ray to follow the digestive track. Everything is clear. The diagnosis is that she ate something that made her seriously ill. The only thing that we gave her that she never had before were bing cherries. We cut them in half and removed the pits. Anyway we picked her up this morning and she ate a few small pieces of her salad. I think we will stick to a basic vegetable base diet and only give fruit as a rare treat. She had gained a ton of weight since her last check up so we must be doing something right. She is still a little weak, so we will give her lot's of love and get her back on track.
