Hi, Ian and welcome to the kingsnake iguana forum!

A cage that is only 1.5 feet tall won't last any iguana long at all! Iguanas are arboreal in nature, which means they live in trees...they need to be up high and climb to feel safe and comfortable. The five feet length is good, tho...is there anyway that you could stand the cage on end, so it would be five feet tall, three feet long, and 1.5 feet wide? With lots of branches to climb on, that would be a paradise to a baby iggy for a year or possibly two, if she got some time out. That would be much more suitable dimensions. As it is now, expect to need to make a new one in 6 months or so...

Also, please, throw the wood chips out ASAP! Iguanas "smell" by tasting their environmental objects..including the wood chips. Your iguana can and probably will ingest wood chips if you use them as litter, and that can and *will* cause serious intestinal impactions, ones that may need surgery to repair. I recommend cutting a piece of Astroturf the size of the cage bottom and using that, instead.

The UVB light is a very good thing. What brand are you using? Not all UVB lights are created equal. SOme are much better than others.

With the 3 heat lights, are you monitoring the temperature in the cage? You'll need a hot spot of about 95-97°F, as well as a cooler side that ranges about 80°F during the day. Temps shouldn't drop below 75°F at night. What are you using for night-time heat?

What are you feeding him/her?

Hyper-linked below is an iguana page that I think is one of the best. You'll learn a *great deal* from this website!

Best,
Jamie/JBug
