Everytime that Shakai has laid eggs, she would dig for days afterward. I usually leave the box with her for a few days because she always seemed upset if I took it away quickly. I don't know if it's a resudual effect, of if she was looking for her eggs or what. But she always did that, and most females igs do, from what I've heard. I can't tell you why, just that it's normal.
BTW, what exactly did you mean she knocked herself up while she was preggie? Is that possible? :D hehehe. ;)
I have no idea about rescues in or around St Louie. Hopefully someone else will.

: So coconut hasn't been in her cage since she laid her eggs a few weeks back. She stays put in teh closet which was needed to let her heal since she knocked herself up while being preggie. Pickle and her switched homes. Anyway i put her back in and within a second she is back in teh dig box which I hadn't removed cause I'm not sure where to put it. How weird. Anyone else have htis happen. She doesn't dig anywhere else.
: Also does anyone know any rehabbers in St. Louis or southern illinois near st. Louis. I really want to help out at one but i can't find one unfortunately.
