Like you I read and read and truly believed in the feed every other day (Hatfield's, Maders) "starvation principle" ...seems based on the theory...like plants don't wanna water them everyday...so they are better able to absorb nutrients, drain, less waste, give em a chance to stimulate their appetites and they grow profusely. HAHA...not so with igs...despite what the "experts" say. Offer it everyday! Heavily sprayed with water...One day maybe feed alot, next day not so much...Heavily spray it with water nonetheless. Reason....igs are so prone to dehydration, if you opt to feed em every other day...make super sure they are getting good hydration (Pedialyte, Gatorade)on those days they do not eat. Since igs get the moisture most from foods they eat if they aren't eating everyday....they aren't taking in that moisture...and chronic dehydration is tied directly to all sorts of probs like kidney disease & failure!! Even the experts like Hatfield & Maders suffer from brain farts! So we're in good company lolol
