animal protein or not, too much protein of any kind is hard on the kidneys and can potentially cause severe problems years down the road ...
there are many plants that are high in protein if it is a concern that the ig needs more in it's diet ... with the controversy over whether or not animal protein is good for igs or not, WHY RISK your animals health and LIFE by feeding eggs, cheese, etc?!?!? dandelion greens are high in protein and we *know* they're *Good* for igs ... why bother with questionable foods????
if anyone thinks kidney problems isn't such a big deal ~ sit down with me and i'll tell you the story of iZ's near death experience due to kidney problems (from an infection) ... the months of daily injections, the months of syringe feeding a liquid diet .... if you could have seen what iZ had to go thru and is STILL going thru, you wouldn't even THINK about risking feeding an ig animal protein or even extra protein just to increase it's size quicker!
