why oh why does rose petals = gas?!?!?

Yeah, yeah, laugh it up...but this is a *serious* question. With all of the igs, rose petals = gas for at least 24 hours! Doesn't matter what color petals, doesn't matter what else they eat with it. What is in rose petals that cause gas? Does any brilliant mind (Gina, you HEAR ME?!?!) have a theory for me to try on? Has anyone experienced this? I mean, thank God rose petals are just a treat. :D
