Okay, in the ongoing concern whether my most wonderous of co-inhabitants may attempt to afflict damage to the other, I of course hope to determine their genders to know if it's cool or not, knowing two males will likely try to wipe eachother out (or so I'm told).
Gizmo, my first has no spines on his/her back whatsoever. They haven't been broken off, he/she's about 20 months old, and approx 28" thus far. Though smaller, she had no shyness to trying to fend her territory when the other was introduced to the living quarters, and started bobbing away with that big bad communicative way (it was kinda' cute though... hehe). Guess I'm looking for some help here as to whether I'm proceeding properly or not. They seem to be co-surviving, taking turns eating, one first one time, then sometimes the other first. BUT, I don't want anything to happen to Gizmo from this 2" longer IG I introduced into his/her living environment. Any risks say you fellow IG Co-habitants?
