How old is the ig? younger igs up to 2 years of age need a higher plant protein than when they mature. Higher plant protein foods includes some items like, alfalfa or timothy hay, soy (low-fat tofu), legumes: beans & peas ....Once older need MUCH less...Lettuce is great for adding water to an igs diet...but has virtually no nutritional value. Igs need high calcium low phosphorus plant foods....Try this website for ideas on acceptable plant foods..okie dokie!
