WEll, today was an adventure. I was letting Baby free-roam while doing the dishes and the little stinker wandered for a few minutes and then hid out behind the Culligan Machine. Come to find out, he had climbed inside the back of the machine! There is grating almost all the way up the back so no way to reach inside and pull him out. I was in a panick because I know how patient Igs are. I knew he could stay in there for awhile, especially since he probably knew I wanted him out of there. (these rebelious kids!) I quickly unplugged the machine and tried to coax him out. I'm sure you know that got me nowhere. So my last resort was to use a wire coat hanger. I opened it up and looped the end so that it wouldn't be sharp and then just used it to tap on the sides and gently prod him out. He ended up, after about 5 minutes of this, backing out enough to where I could hold his hind legs and use my other hand to gently help the rest of his body out! Whew! I hope he forgives me soon! The joys of "Motherhood"! I'm going to cuddle with him later tonight and hope I haven't caused him to regress. Darn-it! Just when things were going soooo good!
