have you ever had blood work done on your iguanas?

If you haven't, it might be a good idea, to see just how much vits are loaded in your iguanas.
If a person does the extra work of keeping up on fresh foods and supplies their iguanas with a balanced diet of greens, fruits and veggies, then in my opinion, overdosing them on Vits, is not required and can only lead to health problems. How old are your iguanas? Health problems sometimes will take years to get to the stages that will show signs that you can detect. Once they have reached those stages, it's hard for the iguana to recover from it. Calcium build up, is one of these slow medical problems.
My opinion is that if after doing labs and the results show levels are low in an area, then yes I would look at adding Vits for a short period of time. But I would also reseach food items which have a content level of that certain item and increase using it for feeding.

Another point is, companies will try to sell you anything they can, even if it's NOT good for your reptile. Take the HOTROCK for an example....talk about over promoting a killer!! Or the petstore who says you can keep an iguana in a 10 gallon tank for at least a year! These people, you would think, should be alittle more educated than the people buying the reptiles, but it seems, they are both on the same level.....except the buyer is trusting the petstore seller and the seller.... just wants to make the sale!
In general I have lost what respect I may have had for petstore owners, unless I see first hand they are going the extra mile for the care of the reptiles they're selling, I will not buy from them.
Keep the above in mind when you see an ad for Vits for reptiles.
