i agree with vitamins everyday or every other day for a sick ig ... careful what kind you use + how much tho! after reading every vitamin bottle in every store i could find, i settled on using SUNKIST vitamins for Children for iZ ... they've got *only* vitamins so there's no worry about possiibly getting too many minerals into their system (it's the minerals more than too many vitamins that *i* worried about) ... iZ is around 10 pounds + usually gets 1/4 of a tablet ... another reason why children's vits are better, they're geared for smaller bodies/weights!

TUMS Extra is a good, safe source of calcium ... iZ likes the berry flavors alot + doesn't mind it sprinkled on his fruit ... again, keep the weight difference in mind ... i've calculated iZ's dose at 1/2 tab per day ...

the calcium should help with the muscle spasms ... would still be a good idea to see a vet, get some blood work done and check on the blood calcium level to see if that really is the cause ... (check fecal sample for worms too if you haven't already)

best wishes!
Bon. + iZ (the big orange GROUCH)
