One of my iguanas came to us this way. My husband and I got a call about an iguana in a tree, and everyone was afraid of him. When we got there we realized that Elliott, as he came to be known, could not walk or climb. How he got in the tree we don't know. This poor iguana just slithered along dragging his arms and legs. He would have to scoop his food, with his head to the side. After a trip to the vet, Neo-cal, a good diet and allot of love, Elliott got better. It took several months but he pulled out of his condition. You would never know he was so ill. Today he is the most loving Iguana of the 16 that we have. Don't give up on this little girl as she will amaze you. Just give her allot of heat and love. You may find that if you can keep her in an aqua brooder (if you have access to one) will really help to hydrate her.
She shouldn't be trying to climb as she can break bones so easily at this time. A heating pad will work wonders if no brooder is available. Just one of those human pads wrapped in a towel, on "low". To rehab these little guys is a real test.
