I use Lizard Litter, the one made out of the the Kenaf plant (I believe thats the one you are talking about) for my igs litter box. I also use it for my Blue Tongue Skink, Bearded Dragon, Boa and Kingsnake. I dont feed my snakes on the substrate or in their enclosure, they have a seperate feeding area lined in paper towels.I havent had a problem with it at all. I am not sure what type of reptiles you are going to put on the lizard litter. If you have an ig, I like astroturf best for them, my ig still has turf in her house. I have some leopard geckos and ball pythons that I dont put on lizard litter. Yvette
