What else is the male iguana doing to the female? Does he try to..err.."mount" her?
Also, are there seperate basking spots, "hide boxes", feeding areas, etc.? Is the enclosure big enough for both iguanas? I doubt it's sexual maturity at a year old, so it's probably the environmental factors.
