If she's not acting normally after laying, poor appetite, lethargic at all, I would certainly get her checked. Mine have always eaten a small amount immediately after egging, drank what seems like gallons, and then rested for 24 hours. After that the appetite has always increased dramatically. If her behavior is normal, if she was always grumpy, she may be just fine. Did she bite or show aggressive behavior before becoming gravid?
