Hey all!

I guess this isn't strictly "on topic", but it's regarding a reptile publication that I'm sure some of us read, and I thought it would be of interest. I just gatheed this information from my newest issue of _Reptiles_ (August 2000), who says that they will be incorporating the Vivarium in with _Reptiles_ from now on. All of this is paraphrased from the article in _Reptiles_.

"Fancy Publications (which publishes _Reptiles_) recently purchased _The Vivarium_ magazine when it was offered for sale. Readers of _The Vivarium_ will now recieve _Reptiles_ instead. Since some readers subscribed to both publications, they will have the option of instead extencing their subscription of _Reptiles_. At this time, we have no plans to continue publishing _The Vivarium_ as a bi-monthly magazine."

He (Phillip Samuelson; editor in chief of _Reptiles_) goes on to say he will miss _The Vivarium_, and that he will always think of Philippe de Vosjoli as a pioneer of reptilian literature. I myself haven't really much read _The Vivarium_ since I heard about some heinous remarks he made about how green iguanas would be better suited for food animals than pets, but that's just me. Besides, they never had much to say about igs as pets in _The Viviarium_. Still, I guess I consider it news from the reptilian outside world, and I thought I would share.

Best,
Jamie/JBug
