I gave my Chloe up for adoption, picked up another iguana in need, got home for just a few minutes, read the forum and emails NOT in chronological order (which was very distressing regarding a certain Savannah we all know), all this in 90+ degree heat and 90% humidity!! Whew!! I need a vacation! Anyway, sounds like things are looking better all around so maybe I can relax a little. This pic is Freddie, the ig we picked up yesterday. She has had good care for the last 1 1/2 years but only heaven knows what happened to her before that. She only has about 6 regrown spikes left, no dewlap altho the cartilage is still there, and lots of burn scars. In spite of all this she's the sweetest thing and showed no signs of stress with all that we put her through yesterday. With the absence of spikes and dewlap her head looks kinda like a Cuban iguana's. She's very small considering her age. This one just needs some plumping up.....
