Dr. Denish says Spunky is generally in pretty good health. He's a little more yellow than he likes to see them, and he felt a little twitch in his leg, indicating calcium deficiency. But it's not severe enough to affect his bones, thank goodness, and he will take liquid calcium for the next 2 weeks. He also had a couple of worms in his poop, which I was expecting. He had his first of 2 treatments for that. Of course he needs to eat a little more and gain a little weight, he's just over 5 pounds. There are no abcesses :-)
We will go back in 2 weeks for a follow-up and his second parasite treatment. Thanks for all your concern and support, and above all, invaluable information. I added another pic to my small, growing collection.
