:

: : : They can be mean too... I've known some that are

: : : Demons..... They are pretty stout, so when you

: : : have a mean one, You have a hand full.

: : : All Rocks that you would see are captive breed.

: : : That might have something to do with it. Since

: : : Green Igs are still being wild caught.

: : : I live in Michigan.... where in Can do you live?

: : I'm in Alberta Canada. I've never seen any Cyclura around here. Only in the States. I've seen them in Ontario, Canada though at a private zoo. I even got to hold one. They of course had permits to keep them. I've also seen David Blairs at the Herp Expo in San Diego. I can imagine a nasty one could inflict allot of pain. As they are so heavy bodied, what big teeth they must have and the strong jaws. Were did you get yours from? Any special Permits to keep them?

roi from LI NY have rhino with bad temperment he has free roam of my apt. if you want them calm remember 3 things 1 establish dominance with your lizard this is done by frequent handling petting and if he is hissing snapping or trying to run just gently place your hand on his back after heis fed and keep it there hand feeding helps be cautious with meats or egg they may bite you and not mean it my lizard will jump 3 ft plus for a little egg ona a fork hand feed bananas youll keep your figers 2keep animal protein feedings to a minimum 1treat 1-2 days aweek tops 3 reduce temp from what is norm 70-80@nite 80-90morn and evening allow only 2-3hrs of bask time how use flo lite ontimer 12hrs 50-70 watt heat bulb 24hrs and150watt heat bulb for bask time theseall can be non maintenence all you need is a power strip and 2 timers from home depot then you just change bulbs golden rule if your home set him FREE if you made me livin a cage 20hrs a day id bite you ps in regard to 1 cut claws dull dont be afraid if he does a behavior and you drop him or leave him alone he will continue it because it works GOOD LUCK
