Didn't go look to see if you had anything posted on the dragon forum. If you've not tried kingsnake's dragon forum for questions on beardies, I can recommend it. *cough cough* Then again a few of us here at the ig forum also have beardies and can help you out probably. If you are ever in a pinch, you can contact Tom Vandiver. I'll leave you his website. I've known him for a long time now and he's an excellent source on beardies....AND he and his family are nice folks *grin* Laura that posts here also is a great source as well as great person.

Now that I've rambled...didn't know if you knew that young beardies are prone to parasites. Coccidia is the usual culprit. They are going to have this any way; most vets only treat when the numbers are high. There is a treatment you should stay away from as it has killed a few dragons. DON'T USE Ivermecin....which I'm sure I've got misspelled but I can't access my info on it because I don't have that account anymore ;o( Might want to double check with the dragon forum about it.

Don't know how I got off on this because you don't say why you need to know for your dragon *grin* Guess I just assumed he'd been on meds for parasites and might need good gut flora re-established.

While I'm throwing websites at you....here's another that I like:

Don't worry; I'll spare you from any more of my dragon sites; but there are a lot of good ones besides these three. These are just the ones I turn to first *grin*

Hope all is well with your beardie soon.

glenda
