You may want to try just a few inches of water. Maby 3" of water. make sure it isn't too hot. Use a themometer to get an accurate reading. Our bath water is really hot to an iguana. Also you may want to try a rubber matt under his feet so he doesn't slip and slide all over the place, it may make him feel more secure.
