I don't want to Be offensive, but male igs once they've started into sexual maturity have also Been known to respond to the cycle of their female owner as well, sometimes becoming aggressive toward her and other times becoming defensive OF her. I had a male ig that was this way, and oddly enough, I had a FEMALE that would get, for lack of a better term, jealous of me at 'that time' and get aggressive toward me. It would only last for a few days, but BOY!!! What a few days it was! Both the igs I have now are very young and I haven't even sexed them, but I'm making very sure to handle them daily and keep them as tame as possible so that they they won't Be completely incorrigible for a few days a month in a couple years. We've had success with this in past.
