Iguanas can never be tamed, they will always be "wild" animals, the trick is to get them to trust you. If they *think* you will harm them (they don't know you won't) they can be aggressive, so just give the ig some space and move slowly when your around it, and eventualy he'll stop spazzing when ever they see you, and then you can work on holding and petting him, remember not to squeeze or restrict the iguana too much or he can think you're trying to eat him and then you have to start all over again. well i hope this can help.
