Down a little ways on the forum you will see a post that says "Finally, ....potty pooper" If you click on that post, you will see a picture of a green iguana. Maybe you can tell by that pic, if that is what you have found. I will also post a link to an iguana care website.

The iguana (if that's what it is) should not be fed any kind of lettuce. It should be fed collard, turnip, and mustard greens, dandelion greens, shredded squash, parsnips, fresh green beans, snow peas, and very little fruit. (This is just to get him by until you find out what his condition is. The website I post has a section on diet.)

The iguana needs to be kept in temperatures between 85-90 during the day and 75-80 at night. You need to mist him with water until you can come up with some type of enclosure for him.

Iguanas need a lot of care, some expensive lighting and lots of love. If you decide to keep him, you will need a UVB light, a basking light and a lightless source of heat for nighttime (something like a ceramic heating element works well).

Rather than bog you down with too much information at once. I will close by saying: Get him to a vet. Keep him warm. Feed him fresh greens and veggies. Keep water easily accessible for him. IF you decide to keep him, you will need to purchase some equipment right away. If you decide not to keep him, let us know. There may be a rescue group near you.
