if the sides of the enclosure are solid (wood, glass, plexiglass) i think it's gonna be easier to heat than you think ... i used red heat lamps (like from Menard's, etc) and put them about 6" *above* the screened top of iZ's (old) enclosure ... make sure there is *NO* way an inquisitive tongue or toe can possibly reach the heat lamp ... also, place a thermometer on the spot that's the closest your ig can get to the heat source, you want to make sure a basking spot isn't *too* warm ...
even tho i used red lamps, they are still too bright to leave on at night ... iZ's old enclosure was about the size of your's and it stayed warm enough at night ... oh ... at night, there was a heating pad (human) on his basking shelf, turned on low "just in case" he got chilly ... his shelf was long enough that if he didn't wanna be on the heating pad, he could just change ends ...
