have been calculating iZ's nutrient intake ... am mixing up a big batch of salad today + so then my numbers will be more accurate, but for now ...
i figure right now, his diet is at a 3:1 ratio ... add the TUMS ... that's another 150mg of calcium (elemental) ... so ... 425mg calcium, 90mg phosphorus is a ratio of 4.7:1 ... i dunno ... any input????? this is new territory i think ... haven't found any recommendations on C:P ratios for renal failure igs ...
Protein ~ well, you're the one who 1st made me aware that protein is hard on the renal system so *don't* be feelin' bad about making suggestions!!! *geesh* i value your opinion!!! (silly girl!) from all my number punching, i'm guess-timating iZ gets 5-6mg protein per day ... but i don't know if that's good, bad, indifferent ... any clue? (he gets no alfalfa or beans, peas ...)
thanks for the time frame on using the TUMS and for the links too!
did you get some sleep finally!?!?
take care of yourself!!!!
Bon.
