it is *so* heart breaking to see igs in hell in pet stores ... i finally just got to the point where i can't take it anymore ... it hurts too much to read about them, i can't bare to actually see them like that ...

i don't go to pet stores that sell igs, period ... and i tell them why i won't be coming to their store any more ... unfortunately, it prob'ly won't make a difference one way or the other to jerks like the one you met, but it helps my peace of mind a little bit ...

my hubby used to have a 125 gal aquarium and spent loads of $$$ at this one pet store ... then the store got this poor ig + his awful window screen cage + put him in the front of the store, trying to sell him + cage for $300 ... december in iowa + they've got this poor thing sitting by the front door!

anyway ... you've all seen the horror stories for yourselves, so i won't go there any further ...

i refused to go into the pet store after that ... hubby backed me up + also quit going there ... a few months later, the store went out of business ... *YAY* ... i know it didn't have anything to do with me, but i cheered anyway! (well, maybe it *was* the curse i threw at their building?!) ...

my bottom line is, i don't give my money to people who abuse animals ... + if that means a trip to the next town to get aquarium supplies or stuff for our other animals, so be it ...

want me to throw a curse at your mean guy too??? *evil laughter*
