: Hello everyone. I just found this list and I'm hoping you could help me with my litle problem.
: I've got an ig from january and now in july i got another one from my friend, who could not take care of it.
: They have been quite nicely together (no bigger fights, just a few chases) but neither Rontti or Ville have been shedding skin well.
: Could this be from the stres or they just havent grown so much they'd need to shed skin?? Hope someone could help me
This is just my opinion, and we can all learn from
others mistakes. Two igs living together is not
good. Especially in the same cage and worse if its
small. My experience shows stunted growth, poor eating habits because of territory claims. They
may not fight now but they will. These fights become very nasty and the bite marks can become
infected. This may or may not be the reason your
2 igs are not shedding. I think it could be a
contributing factor (slower or stunted growth).
Give them seperate homes ASAP and you will see
a defference. I'm sure there are experts that will
tell me I'm wrong. But,like I said it just my $0.02 Hope this is of some help. Steve
