Quick question...has your iguana mated a male iguana recently? Some people are unaware of the fact that female iguanas, like chickens, will lay eggs without mating with a male once they are sexual mature. (which is when they reach about 10" snout to vent length). A healthy female that has reached this size should lay eggs every year for the rest of her life. Mating is not necessary for her to produce these eggs.
