Mine is always way up high on his basking branches. Some igs like to hang from their wire mesh on the enclosures. Mine doesnt. This could also be a possibility for the nail loss. If he doesnt climb that, or hang from it, then I dont see a problem. Other than that, you got me on the nail loss situation. Sorry I couldnt really help much on this. Yvette

Thanks for replying. It's not exactally chicken wire, but it is a wire. It's made up of squares
and he does climb on it and hang on it. This is probably the problem. He has branches and a big
high shelf, but he still does this. I should probably redo his encloser and maybe cover it with something else, BUT WHAT?? HELP! :)
