Okay, so once again I'm in the middle of cooking when brain jolted me LOL LOL
I'm going to ramble this out and hope that it makes some sense! I understand you are giving the calcium carbonate as a phosphorous binder. Then it hit me...should you worry about hypercalcemia? I know you feed him the good stuff that is high in calcium and use the calcium binders occassionally yadayadayada. BUT because you are also using the supplement with the good food---is there a risk of too much calcium?
Am wondering if perhaps it would be a good time to use the not so "good" stuff like zukes, romaine, etc. that are on the lower end of the calcium totem pole. But then again..some of the foods lower in CA are higher in phosphorous *sigh*
think I've rambled myself out now *grin*
