The sitter has a friend with an iguana,so she has had exposure. I just thought it best not to have the sitter take Lizzy from her home.
She, Sharon was wonderful. Got the food combination and place to feed correct. Water was changed and any poop cleaned. Lizzy is very, very fiesty so I would not risk any one else being biten like I have been.
I am a complete worry wort so don't let my insecurities rub off, I feel I can never to to careful.
Lizzy was ticked at me I could tell, but with a little extra love, tender moments and food she will be fine.
We all have to get away sometimes and you just need someone you feel comfortable with. A friend of mine offered but no way would I let her, not so reliable. Just pick the sitter carefully and I hope one that has experience with Igs. Don't worry your guy will be fine.
