: more questions~ *grin*
: how big *is* your ig??
: have you had her tested for parasites? (igs have worms until treated)
: how often does she go to the bathroom?
: how come you put her food thru a blender???

: about her attitude change + always wanting out of her enclosure ... my 1st thought is that she just needs to be getting out of her enclosure + getting more excerise ... is there anyway you can make one room 'ig-friendly' and let her loose in there for a while every day? even the best enclosure is still an enclosure ... some roaming time every day could make a world of difference ... bathrooms are usually fairly easy to set up for an ig to play in safely ...

: also, the fact that she is "is always hanging out by the lamp" is an indicator that her enclosure is not warm enough ... she needs more than just a warm spot to hang out in, the entire temp of her 'home' should be about 80 degrees ... again, she's not getting to move around like she should cuz she has to stay in the one warm spot ... no exercise can make for a very grouchy ig ...

: hmmmmm ... diet ... should consist *mostly* of greens, collards + escarole are good ...

: here's a couple of good web-sites for ig-info ...
: i'm sure HD will have some good input for you too!!!

She is 2 ft from head to tip of tail. I blend her food because I thought I needed to do this - should I just cut it up in big chucks--she goes to the bathroom once a day - I put her in the tub--Should I also leave her emitter on? sometimes she does go on the side where there is no heat - she was tested for parasites and she was negative. I could let her loose in her room but she is still small enough to get under the baseboards so at night I let her roam for about 1/2 hour.
