not really a problem if he doesn't like fruits cuz he shouldn't get much fruit anyway ... the only thing i've found that iZ likes fruit-wise is kiwi *sometimes* and oranges *all the time* ... not every ig likes the same thing in other words ...

problem with vegies could be the way you're preparing them ... thin slices are the best + easiest to eat ... usually, i grate iZ's vegies so they're little bitty thin slices ... that way too, they kinda stick to the greens and he gets to eat some no matter what ...

i have noticed that if iZ feels i've put too much vegies into his salad + not enough greens, he'll pitch a fit and not eat it til i fix it! yeah, what can i say? either i'm well trained or he's a bit spoiled ... *grin* ... oh! + before he got sick + was on a liquid diet for so long, food *had* to be a certain size!!! if he thought it was cut up into little baby ig pieces, he wouldn't eat it! tearing chunks off leaves reminded me of that! sounds like iZ! ... anyway ... now he's just glad it's "real" food and grating vegies is ok ...

um ... did i mention igs *can* get spoiled??? *grin*

if i'm remembering right, your ig's still smallish right??? could be some growth spurt stuff going on with him too ... have seen that with iZ as well as human kids and other assorted animals ... sometimes, they're just not hungry + don't want to eat for a few days ... then *poof* overnight, they turn into little eating machines + you can't seem to get enough food in front of them! as long as Ziggi's appetite returns within a few days + he's not obviously losing weight, that'd be my guess ...

i think you + Ziggi are still just figuring things out is all ... don't worry, he'll get you trained + life will be good!
